I was in the mood for something different and I also wanted to delve deep into the fall palette, and I instantly thought about a look that caught my eye last year.
The look in question?
The one worn by Emily Ratajkowski to last year’s LACMA Gala.
The brunette stunner wore an archival backless brown satin and velvet gown featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline from Donna Karan’s Fall-Winter 1996 collection.
She complemented it with a pair of matching peep toe sandals, a pair of Rahaminov 20 ctw round cut diamond studs and a 5 ct Movál® cut diamond ring on her left index finger.
The model also carried with her a brown Tyler Ellis Perry Clutch in sable crushed velvet with–what seemed to be–gold accents.
Ratajkowski‘s makeup was sublime, indeed Dame Pat McGrath was behind it.

The pro made sure to emphasize Emily‘s natural beauty by applying a burnt orange/brownish eyeshadow on her lid and blending it below the lower lash line too, framing the eyes with a fine trait of black pencil. She also mixed two jumbo lipstick pencils in order to achieve the perfect nude pout.

“Proceeds from the annual Art+Film Gala go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission. This includes exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming, in addition to screenings that explore the intersection of art and film.
The Art+Film Gala was once again made possible by Gucci‘s longstanding and generous support.
