Sergio Lopez- Rivera was born and raised in Spain where he nurtured his roots in art and imaging. From the age of seven, he started to showcase his talent as an artist with sketches in both pencil and charcoal. By the age of twelve he was “painting” his first faces.
After graduating with top honors from The Joe Blasco School of Makeup, Sergio became known for his well-rounded talents as an artist, taking on beauty makeup for film and television as well as special effects, print and fashion.
Sergio Lopez-Rivera is a well-known, established and respected Makeup Artist in today’s Hollywood industry.
His work has been seen regularly on television shows like “Private Practice,” “Felicity,” “The Mind of the Married Man, “The Jamie Foxx Show,” “Monk” and “Miss Match” to name few.
Sergio has also worked on Indie films such as The Opposite of Sex, and The Clockwatchers.
Sergio has lived in Los Angeles for twenty years. He is one of the most highly regarded makeup artists in the industry.
His list of celebrity clients has included Alicia Silverstone, Keri Russell, Patricia Arquette, Kate Walsh, Christina Ricci, Patrick Dempsey, Tony Shalhoub and Toni Collette among others.
