Nina Park is a NYC-based professional makeup artist.

Originally from Chicago, Nina’s initial interest in makeup started at a young age poring over fashion magazines with an ink pen, reshaping the lips and lashes of models in fashion and beauty editorials.

While majoring in painting at art school, she decided that her interest in makeup artistry was ultimately a passion she needed to pursue. After studying makeup at L’école de Maquillage Fleurimon in Paris, Nina moved to New York City and began working under industry legends including Peter Philips and Diane Kendal.

In 2014, she branched out on her own and has curated a remarkable client list in the worlds of fashion, celebrity and cosmetics. Her ethos is simple – drawing inspiration from the natural structures and shadows of the face, and enhancing features rather than concealing them.

Celebrities Zoë Kravitz, Diane Kruger, Brie Larson, Laura Harrier, Lily-Rose Depp and Bella Hadid individually entrust her for their advertising, red carpet and promotional appearance. Nina is indispensable to enhancing the best version of themselves and is steadily becoming an industry namesake.

Nina’s work can be seen globally in the pages of Harper’s BazaarElleVogue and through campaigns for institutions such as Tiffany & Co.BulgariYSL Beauté and Chanel.

Nina is currently a CHANEL Makeup Artist and a Brand Ambassador for Kate Somerville.

Recently, with hairstylist Bryce Scarlett, she founded the Instagram Adjoining Rooms.

Due to COVID-19, events have been put on hold, hence why fashion stylists, hairstylists and makeup artists haven’t been able to work either.

That’s how Nina and Bryce came up with an IGTV series in which they explain their creative process by designing hypothetical red carpet moments. In each episode, a stylist presents a runway look and the occasion they’re styling it for, and then Park and Scarlett task themselves with coming up with the perfect hair and makeup combination for this make-believe moment.
