Sebastien Bascle is a professional hairstylist.
He started out when he was 14 years old, working at school where he learnt the technical side of hairstyling. When he was younger, he didn’t understand all the cutting techniques, it was just when he started working in a hair salon that his craftsmanship came to life. His boss went to the Vidal Sassoon Academy and she taught him the Vidal Sassoon technique: how to be rigorous and organized while cutting hair.
He loves catwalks, he loves the adrenaline at runway shows, the music, the energy from the designers–and finds being able to enter into their world really interesting.
He’s a very curious person, discovering new things from plants, to paintings and architecture; his definition of beauty is Inès de la Fressange. He also names Catherine Deneuve as his inspiration for becoming a hairstylist.
Among his fondest memories he cites working on Michael Jackson and Claudia Schiffer.
He is represented by Calliste Agency and you can find his portfolio HERE
