Nakia Rachon Collins is a professional celebrity hairstylist currently based in Los Angeles, CA.

Divinely stemming from a lineage of matriarch hairstylists while growing up in Del Paso Heights, a predominately underserved neighborhood in Sacramento, CA, both her great-grandmother and grandmother imparted an innate interest and talent that is fundamental to Nakia’s unique essence and identity.
While mastering her skillsets in various family salons and institutional-cosmetology programs, she too acquired a humble perspective coupled with her expertise that has markedly grounded Nakia throughout her career.
With over 13 years of experience as a stylist and nearly a decade and counting in the entertainment industry, Nakia continues to make a name for her work that has been featured across several brand partnerships, editorial publications, television programs, tours, and films.
Reaching up to new successes has always prompted Nakia to reach back to her community as she believes it is important to empower and encourage others who are venturing in the pursuit of advancing their aspirations. With faith, hard work, and determination, she devotedly models her journey as a testament to remain steadfast in following one’s passions and living in purpose. She feels incredibly blessed to echo this credence all while doing what she creatively loves to do – hair – as by helping people feel outwardly great about themselves creates space then to most importantly shape and transform confidence within.
