Lately I was struck by an outfit worn by model Stella Maxwell for this year’s LACMA Art + Film Gala and I thought I might share it with you because in the end, that’s what I do.
Also, grey is one of my favorite colors, so I jumped on the possibility to write about it.
For the event, Maxwell donned a grey Amiri halter neck see-through dress from the Spring-Summer 2026 collection, paired with black Paris Texas ‘Lidia‘ patent leather slingbacks.
To further enrich the look, the blonde stunner opted for a pair of Simone Rockstar Punk Rock earrings in black gold, a Simone x Tomo Sumi diamond ring in white gold on her right index finger and a Simone Edgy Double Unisex ring with Abalone shell in 18k white gold on her left middle finger.

Stella‘s makeup was courtesy of Leah Darcy Pike who lined her lower lash line with a glittery grey eyeshadow mixed with a black pencil to intensify it and to tightline. The lips were kept natural, using a peachy creamy lipstick.
Rena Calhoun styled her hair in a deep side-parted slightly wavy do, gently caressing one of her shoulders; the nails were kept natural, seen that the dress was already striking on its own.
The British-Irish model was styled by Marc Eram who is never bland when it comes to dressing his clients, indeed he always makes sure to infuse freshness and allure into dresses that may seem simple if judged by an untrained eye, but that are exactly where they need to be when worn by the right personalities.

According to the event’s official statement: On Saturday November 1, 2025, friends and supporters from the art, film, fashion, and entertainment industries gathered at LACMA for its fourteenth annual Art+Film Gala honoring artist Mary Corse, along with filmmaker Ryan Coogler.
LACMA trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio co-chaired the event for the fourteenth consecutive year.”

“Proceeds from the annual Art+Film Gala go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission. This includes exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming, in addition to screenings that explore the intersection of art and film.
The Art+Film Gala was once again made possible by Gucci‘s longstanding and generous support.”
