Josué Perez‘s entrance into the world of hairstyling was influenced by his love of the arts. As a young drummer who watched his sister work as a stylist in a New Jersey salon, Josué not only fell in love with the work he saw his sister doing, but also realized that his drumming skills contributed to the quickness and efficiency in which he could use his hands.
Josué began his career by becoming a hairstylist in a New York salon. Upon a chance meeting with a well-established hair stylist, Josué was asked to assist on a job with Stella McCartney, which led to an opportunity to assist on a shoot with Gwyneth Paltrow. Eventually, Josué’s work caught the eye of Sarah Jessica Parker who referred Josué to Serge Normant and soon after, Serge offered Josué a spot in his world famous salon in New York City.
Josué has continued to work with Sarah Jessica Parker, amongst other A-list celebrities and supermodels including Cameron Diaz, Rosario Dawson and Karlie Kloss.
