Jon Chapman is a professional hairstylist and groomer known for creating ‘beautiful, unique hair’ for red carpet celebrities, high-profile designers and retail campaigns.
When Jon was 8, Vidal Sassoon was on TV and Jon remembers seeing him work on an amazing geometic haircut, and he immediately knew what he wanted to do.
At aged 11, Jon was cutting hair for the girls at school and he then started buying Vogue.
When Jon left school, he moved from Glasgow to London to become an apprentice at the Trevor Sorbie Salon, in Covent Garden. By the time Jon reached 26, he had worked on the front cover of Vogue. Jon’s passion for hair saw him working with magazines and he then progressed to working on the red carpet.
Jon’s client book includes working with Amber Heard, Blake Lively, Olivia Colman, Tilda Swinton, Rebel Wilson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Laura Linney, Milly Bobby Brown, Greta Gerwig, Aisling Franciosi, Sienna Miller, Emily Blunt, Natalie Dormer, Elizabeth Hurley.
Currently travelling the world, Jon spends a great deal of his time time travelling with talent, as they promote their new films and events worldwide. Additionally, Jon still works with private clients, on high profile ad campaigns.
