Apprenticing in Chicago with world renowned hairstylists Charles Ifergan, Marion Strockirk and Vidal Sassoon, she became a sought after salon stylist and began her freelance career.
Her interests in wig making lead her to study with master wig maker Lena Kaleva. She then moved to California expanding her hair artistry into mixed media, wig making, feature films, print, special effects and television. Jill’s extensive knowledge of wigs, extensions and unique hair pieces, have served her and her clients in many far reaching ways with a full cachet of different tools and mediums.
Jill has lended her talents to a variety of celebrities and musicians.
Her resume includes actresses such as Julie Bowen, Melissa McCarthy, Dianne Keaton, and Allison Janney as well as musicians Alanis Morissette, and Sarah Bareilles.
Jill’s male roster is equally impressive including stars such as Jimmy Kimmel, Zac Efron, Donny Walberg and Ben Stiller.
Renowned directors and photographers such as Tim Burton, John Wells, Aaron Sorkin, Matthew Rolston, Greg Gorman, Nigel Parry, Mark Seliger, and Robert Ascroft have also chosen to collaborate with Jill.
