Anok Yai at the Business of Fashion 500 Gala 2025

One of the models who I like the most is undoubtedly Anok Yai, because you’ll never be able to make her be someone that she’s not.

She’s independent, unapologetically herself and incredible on the runway, all these are the marks of a star.

So let’s analyze what she wore to this year’s Business of Fashion 500 Gala, because it was definitely worth of notice.

Yai donned a blue George Trochopoulos Turtleneck Maxi sleeveless dress, paired with white Amina Muaddi Anok 105 patent leather pumps.

To enrich her ensemble even more, she opted for many splendid pieces of jewelry that I sadly cannot identify at the moment, that’s why I asked her stylist for more information (I will update this space as soon as I know more).

What I do know is that Anok‘s makeup was courtesy of Sheika Daley, who applied a glittery purple eyeshadow all over the lids, mixing it with a blue one on the outer corners, blended towards the temples.

Daley kept the model’s lips juicy using an iper-reflecting gloss and she also used her own Elora Lane false lashes to make Anok‘s eyes even bigger and sultrier.

As always, the skin was immaculate–clearly the pro’s trademark–and the products she used were (of course) from Danessa Myricks.

Her hair was styled by Tiffany Blake in a short do that drew inspiration from the Korean boy cut.

On her Instagram Blake wrote that she “added a softer, more feminine touch with a gentle flip and flirty sideburns” to the hairdo–a look that was truly too cute not to notice and not to love.

The Black stunner was styled by Terrence Munn who has made a name for himself assisting the famed Carlos Nazario, and it clearly shows.
