Rio Sreedharan is a London-based hairstylist.
Sreedharan’s mother and aunt worked in salons, so hairdressing has always run in his family. After training for two years through the UK’s day release program, he was a certified hairstylist by the time he was 16.
From there, he worked his way up the ladder at the Rush Salon, and once he left it, he amassed a celebrity clientele that he keeps to this day.
His clients include FKA Twigs, Ella Balinska, Thandiwe Newton, Bella Hadid, Ashley Graham, Irina Shayk, Winnie Harlow, Tommy Genesis, Yara Shahidi, Solange Knowles, M.I.A., Ciara, Mabel, and Rita Ora.
He is often called upon for his expertise with textured hair, weaves and wigs.
Sreedharan’s work has appeared in Dazed, i-D, V Magazine, W Magazine, Vogue, Interview, Porter, Refinery 29, Sunday Times Style, and more.
In addition, he has collaborated with brands including Dior, Nike, Reebok and Equinox.
