In January Nathalie Emmanuel was in attendance of the Costume Designers Guild Awards. For the occasion she wore a David Koma Fall 2019 Ready-to-Wear black ensemble with a slit on the leg and butterfly motif on the chest. She opted for Jimmy Choo black suede Shiloh 100 sandals to finish the look.
Colorist Tanya Quintero Abriol added some beautiful copper red tones to Nathalie‘s brown hair (you can see them better in the up-close pictures).
Nathalie accepted the award in behalf of Game of Thrones‘ costume designer Michele Clapton.
Clapton won in the category Excellence In Sci-Fi/Fantasy Television for Game of Thrones: “The Iron Throne”.
She also awarded Donna Zakowska for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Zakowska won Excellence in Period Television).
The Costume Designers Guild (CDG) was founded in 1953 by a group of 30 motion picture costume designers. It produces the annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, which recognizes excellence in costume design in motion pictures, television, and commercials.
