Nicole Scherzinger was a juicy treat while walking the red carpet of the amfAR Gala held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Rocon May 17, 2018 in Cap d’Antibes, France.

For the glamorous occasion, she wore a Georges Hobeika Couture raspberry red, strapless, tulle column gown embroidered with sequins, crystals, and beads from the Spring Summer 2018 collection (in better detail here).

Scherzinger accessorized the look with a de Grisogono High Jewelery collar necklace, set with white diamonds and 2415 rubies–according to the brand’s Instagram: “A sparkling wave of 247 carats of rubies set on blackened pink gold and six brilliant-cut diamonds ranging from 1.50 to 3.80 carats.”
Different rings adorned her fingers, like a Ventaglio Classic (similar to this one, apart from the black diamonds).

When it came to shoes, she opted for René Caovilla Cleo crystal-embellished leather sandals (they are hardly visible, but they could very possibly be these ones).

━━━━━━━━━━━━

amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, known until 2005 as the American Foundation for AIDS Research, is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of AIDS-related public policy.

In the early 1980s, a group of researchers and scientists including Mathilde Krim, then a researcher at New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, formed an informal study group to investigate the condition that came to be known as AIDS. In 1983, Dr. KrimDr. Joseph SonnabendMichael Callen and several others launched the New York-based AIDS Medical Foundation.

In Los Angeles, Dr. Michael S. Gottlieb and amfAR Founding National Chairman Dame Elizabeth Taylor spearheaded the creation of the National AIDS Research Foundation. The two organizations merged in September 1985 to become “American Foundation for AIDS Research” (AmFAR). The merged organization was launched with a $250,000 contribution from Rock Hudson shortly before his AIDS-related death in October 1985.

amfAR’s largest source of revenue comes from its fundraising events, large portions of that money comes from one of its annual charity events held at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France titled “amfAR’s Annual Cinema Against AIDS.” The gala aims to raise money through auctioning items, as well as selling a limited number of tickets. Since the first amfAR gala, the charity has raised over $210 million to support AIDS research causes.
