The wonderful Cate Blanchett was present at this year’s Golden Globes. She was nominated in the category Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for the movie Where’d You Go, Bernadette together with Ana de Armas, Awkwafina, Beanie Feldstein and Emma Thompson.

She wore a Mary Katrantzou gown from the Temple of Poseidon Couture Collection. This was the “JUSTICE” dress from Katrantzou‘s first ever Couture show, set in the Temple of Poseidon in Greece, in aid of the Elpida Association(Association of Friends and Children with Cancer). A portion of the proceeds from the collection went directly to it.

The designer hoped to do “justice” to Cate’s beauty, intellect and heart.
It was a Fortuny-plissé cut-out column dress with ‘Amphora’ sleeves in limoncello organza and silk satin. The bodice featured an embroidered bralet forming the shape of the scales of the Goddess of Justice in crystals by Swarovski.

I think it was worth reading Mary’s dedication to the actress on her Instagram: “It’s an honour to be dressing Cate for this special moment in a piece from my very first Couture collection. Cate is one of the amazing women that have supported me over the years. I am ever inspired by her strength, knowledge and humanity.”

Makeup artist Cedric Jolivet used Armani Beauty products on her face – here you can read the full list of the products he used.

Hairstylist Robert Vetica used Leonor Greyl products (here the full process) and Olivia Garden tools.
