Cary Robinson is a celebrity fashion stylist and costume designer with over two decades of experience.

Originally she went to school to be a court reporter to follow in her dad’s attorney footsteps, and while she was studying, she worked at a hair salon as a receptionist. One day, one of her colleagues showed her a lookbook, and that was the first time she was introduced to the role of a personal stylist.

Neeko Abriol, her colleague and hairdresser at the salon, gave her a recommendation for an internship position with a renowned celebrity stylist.

After a lot of persistence, she landed a job as an intern for a personal stylist to Hollywood’s biggest stars. For two years, she worked in a garage office out of her Beverly Hills home. At the time, she was living in Orange County and every day she had to wake up very early so she would be at work, ready to bring her employer coffee and to walk her dog.

She got her big break when a celebrity client (and Oscar winner) realized she was the one styling her. Once she realized she was the one handling her account and pulling all her outfits, she asked her to be her personal stylist. That’s how it all started.

Thanks to word of mouth and her professionalism, she was also able to work for TV and film. But she sees it as most challenging as the work does not allow much creative freedom.

She’s the woman behind the looks of some of Victoria’s Secret Angels including Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro and Jasmine Tookes (who’s also her daughter).
