Alexandry Costa was initiated to hairdressing during his first years by a grandfather, hairdresser at Cinecittà. He left the Côte d’Azur direction Bordeaux and the Dessange house to become a studio hairdresser. He will continue his studio hairdressing activity in Paris, working with some of the great names in the profession.

Represented since 2012 by Artlist Paris New-York, he regularly collaborates with personalities of the seventh art: Juliette Binoche, Natalie Portman, Isabelle Huppert, Lily-Rose Depp, Marisa Berenson, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Clémence Poésy to name a few.

He provides consulting and artistic direction for major international brands and his signature is alongside those of famous photographers in the pages of the most prestigious fashion magazines such as Vogue, Numéro, Harper’s Bazaar, Self Service, M le Monde, Vanity Fair.

Since 2020, Alexandry is the Digital Artistic Director of Shu Uemura.

But if hairstyling is an art whose language he masters, the artistic fibre of this enthusiast of the Victorian era, Klein blue, the landscapes of Tuscany and Godard’s cinema is not limited to the blade of his scissors.

During his studies at the Mougins Conservatory, Alexandry was strongly influenced by artists such as Matisse and Cocteau, and Léger. It is through drawing, video and writing that he enriches his creative palette.

He is represented by Artlist and you can find his portfolio HERE
