Pamela Cochrane is a London based makeup artist.

Originally from Scotland, born in Glasgow, she is best known for creating Lana Del Rey’s iconic makeup looks since 2011.

Cochrane has been obsessed with beauty since she was a teen, she assisted Alex Box and Charlotte Tilbury before branching out on her own.

She has mainly lived in London, after moving to Pitlochry, Thurso, Biggar and Edinburgh. She also lived in New York for three years.

Pamela did an Art Foundation course in Edinburgh before embarking on a two-year specialist makeup course at the London College of Fashion in 2000. After graduation she freelanced on the Bobbi Brown makeup counter which helped her understand different skin tones and types of skin. She also taught at Jemma Kids makeup school before assisting other professionals.

Her work can be seen on the pages of important fashion magazines such as British Vogue, Coveteur, Dazed Beauty, Elle UK, Vogue Polska and Vogue Portugal to name a few.
