Micaela Erlanger is a Celebrity Fashion Stylist based out of New York City and Los Angeles, where she works with such international talent as Lupita Nyong’o, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep, Common, Jennifer Hudson, Hillary Swank, Michelle Dockery, Blake Lively, and Diane Kruger.
Her work has been seen on the biggest red carpets around the globe, and in the pages of top fashion publications worldwide.
Micaela’s passion for design and styling started at a young age, exploring the streets of New York City, where she was born and raised. It was at Parsons, The New School for Design where she received her formal fashion education. She graduated with a degree in Design and Management and began working immediately with a top fashion stylist in New York City.
In 2013 she opened her own studio and began styling clients under her own name. In two short years, she was named the third most powerful stylist in Hollywood by The Hollywood Reporter–and has since remained at the top of the list year after year. In 2016 she was awarded the inaugural Marie Claire Image Maker Award. Publications from Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar, to the New York Times have profiled her unprecedented ascent to power stylist, many referencing her unique ability to transform her clients from actors and musicians into fashion icons. She is a contributing writer for WhoWhatWear.com and has written for such publications as Vogue.com, TMagazine.com and Time Magazine.
A self-described glamour-girl, Micaela’s inspirations vary from vintage couture, modern art, to classic Hollywood film. However, the hallmark of her work derives not from specific reference points, but instead from her meticulous attention to detail, in-depth collaboration with her clients, and her unfailing dedication to creating fashion moments that will stand the test of time.
In September 2020, after a decade of styling women of all shapes and sizes, she launched StyleList, an inclusive collection of versatile wardrobe essentials designed to take the guesswork out of getting dressed.
