Erin Parsons is one of Gigi Hadid’s personal makeup artists and vintage makeup collector.
She uses her love of old films and classic movie stars to inspire her work on fashion’s IT girls.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, she got her start at makeup counters before going on to assist legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath.
While growing up, she recalls watching old movies and playing with makeup as her first dip into the field.
Parsons was inspired by classic movie stars such as: Jean Harlow, Marlene Dietrich, Josephine Baker, Marilyn Monroe, Clara Bow, Joan Crawford and Greta Garbo.
She believes that if she wasn’t a makeup artist, she would be a film critic, since film was such an inspiration to her, when starting her career.
Parsons is now part of the Farfetch Beauty Global Collective.
