Edwin Ortega is a stylist and Creative Director who was born in San Diego.

His pursuit of the arts led him to Los Angeles where he graduated with a BA from The Art Center College of Design.

Edwin was drawn into the world of fashion and publishing and after developing his extensive background in editorial work, he founded MOOD Magazine and currently serves as the Editor in Chief, while continuing as a stylist, and Creative Director.

While establishing the voice for MOOD Magazine as the Fashion Director, Edwin explored his passion for fashion while creating a voice for himself as a stylist; a balance of rock-n-roll mixed with a hint of glamour.

Following his creative perspective, Edwin’s work demands a natural gravitational pull of the eyes, and the artists he styles are effortlessly noticed. 

Edwin’s ability to bring out the sensual ease and beauty in his celebrity collaborations is demonstrated in his work with talent such as: Olivia Rodrigo, Keke Palmer, Noah Schnapp, Javon Walton, 24kGoldn, Charli D’Amelio, Cameron Dallas, Gracie Abrams, Alessia Cara, Noah Beck, Luke James, Role Model,  Ross Lynch, Liza Koshy, Ava Max, Charlotte Lawrence. 

Edwin has also collaborated with advertising brands including Prada, Moschino, Gucci, Miu Miu, Ferragamo, Dior, Etro, Roberto Cavalli, Saint Laurent, Dsquared2, Coach, Amiri, Viktor and Rolf, Ami, Burberry.

His work is featured in GQ magazine, VMAN, Rolling Stone magazine, Gay Times magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Billboard, Icon Magazine, Schön Magazine, L’Officiel, Out magazine, and Vanity Teen – where he is also a contributing editor.
