Dara Allen is a New York-based, gender non-conforming model, Interview Magazine Fashion Editor and stylist.
She entered the world of fashion through journalism, not thinking it would become her career. As an unsigned model, she walked a Marc Jacobs show in 2017, which then led to other opportunities such as walking for Kenzo, Erdem and Prabal Gurung to name a few.
In 2022 she became the Fashion Director of Interview Magazine and she has decided to work with designers who appreciate her as a human being and not just as token trans-model.
Some of her clients include Tom Ford, Carlina Herrera, Miu Miu and you can find her work published in magazines such as WSJ Magazine, Vanity Fair, GQ and Perfect Magazine.
Lately, she styled Troye Sivan for his “One Of Your Girls” music video and Hunter Schafer for the press tour of “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes“.
