Daniel Sallstrom is a professional makeup artist who originally comes from Gothenberg in Sweden.
Sallstrom moved to London in 2006 where he immersed himself in London’s club scene, experimenting with his own make-up looks on himself before impressing MAC, where he ended up training as a makeup artist.
His inspiration has always hailed from the underbelly of London’s subversive nightlight scene and he has since worked with Madonna, Kate Moss, Grace Jones, Kanye West, Teyana Taylor, Arca, Tilda Swinton, Kelela and FKA twigs, as well as working for major fashion brands on both campaigns and shows.
He has over a decades experience as a professional make-up artist and is known for dramatic and experimental work that channels his appreciation for outsider beauty, old school glamour and culture clashes.
