One of the brightest outfits on the red carpet of this year’s Cannes Film Festival was that of influencer/entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni. But there is more to her dress than what meets the eye.
First of all, the gown was a custom Giambattista Valli Haute Couture look, paired with nude heels (barely visible in some shots) and with–of course–Bulgari jewels.
Also, according to The Blonde Salad, the gown was embellished with recycled aluminium flowers, hand-made using the same 80% recycled aluminium as Nespresso‘s own coffee capsules. The entire gown was created using global organic textile standard (GOTS) certified textiles (eco-sustainable silk chiffon) and Giambattista Valli chose a bright green shade since it is one of Chiara‘s favorite shades.
Specifically, she accessorized her look with a Bulgari Serpenti Viper ring in 18k white gold with pavé diamonds, Bulgari’s Giardini Italiani High Jewelry earrings featuring two octagonal step-cut blue Burmese sapphires of 25.58-carats, a High Jewelry ring on her left index finger, her engagement ring on the same hand, paired with her Pomellato wedding band on her ring finger. To finish off the look, she often wears her diamond name necklaces, the Vittoria one is from Talia’s Jewels (the necklaces bear the names of her two children, “Leo“stands for “Leone“).
According to Chiara, her hair was intended to be a ‘mermaid look’, whereas her makeup was simple and airy to reflect her whole Summer vibe and to give the dress time to shine.
