Quite rarely I get hypnotized by a dress, but certain designers sometimes reach the impossibile. Once I saw what Bretman Rock was wearing for this year’s Business of Fashion Gala dinner I was stunned and here is why.
For the gala, Bretman donned a yellow Robert Wun ‘The Lovebirds‘ suit from the Spring-Summer 2023 collection.
The ensemble was paired with a yellow gold Cartier Love diamond ring on his left index finger and what appeared to be Chanel Coco Crush earrings in 18k white gold with pavé diamond accents.
Some bead bracelets were barely visible under his sleeves, hence why we were not able to identify them. Same goes for his shoes which were completely covered by his long flowy pants.
Bretman‘s collaboration with stylist Brian Meller is proving to be the fruitful and full of surprises. From vintage pieces to high-end designers or emerging ones, Meller is one of the best researchers fashion has to offer. It also helps that Rock is willing to play the game, never shying away from risks.
Also, the unintentional match with the carpet? So good.
